SPANISH BARBIE

YEAR: 1992

PURCHASE CONDITION: Boxed

PURCHASE DATE: January 2018

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: Original

NOTES: I got this girl for $5 at a doll show! Definitely well worth it. Steffie face and I love the outfit colors.

INDIAN BARBIE

YEAR: 1982

PURCHASE CONDITION: Boxed

PURCHASE DATE: March 2013

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: Original

NOTES: Even though she was one of the main group I wanted as a kid, it took me the longest to get this lady. Some of them have unusual eyes, like they're printed with too much paint or crooked. Picking out just the right doll took time.

IRISH BARBIE

YEAR: 1984

PURCHASE CONDITION: Boxed

PURCHASE DATE: October 2009

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: Original

NOTES: Not one originally on my list, but you know I can't resist a Steffie. This lady bears a resemblance to my fave Sweet Roses PJ, too.

PARISIAN BARBIE

YEAR: 1980

PURCHASE CONDITION: Boxed

PURCHASE DATE: Sometime before September 2009

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: Original

NOTES: When I was little and had that Barbie collector book, there were several I marked as ones I wanted. A handful of DotWs stood out and this girl was one of them. I love this dress with its cute flippy hem and her pretty green eyes. That style of shoe is probably my vintage favorite, too. They're fragile and a pain to get on, but they stay on.

COOL TIMES MIDGE

YEAR: 1988

PURCHASE CONDITION: Boxed

PURCHASE DATE: March 2026

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: Original.

NOTES: Finally got her! I've been after this girl for probably almost three years. The price on her tends to be higher, like in the $60+ range. I've missed out a couple times, mostly recently when I actually bought her, but then the seller cancelled the order because the doll had sold that day in their physical shop. Sigh. But I waited and ended up paying $45 plus shipping. Her hair is a bit wild, but her outfit is impeccable. I love it. Definitely worth waiting for.

HEART FAMILY KISS & CUDDLE

YEAR: 1986

PURCHASE CONDITION: Boxed

PURCHASE DATE: May 2023

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: Original

NOTES: My neighbor had this doll when I was in fourth grade and I adored her. I always loved the Steffie mold and this dress appealed to kid me a lot. So I finally got around to adding her to my collection a couple years ago.

BARBIE AND THE ALL STARS TERESA

YEAR: 1989

PURCHASE CONDITION: Used

PURCHASE DATE: 2023ish

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: 1984 Fashion Fun white lingerie.

NOTES: Teresa is not in the best shape. Pretty sure her bangs had a little cut. But she's the hardest to find of the All Stars line and I was not leaving her in the store. I finally got her the childhood favorite lingerie set I had in mind for her.

Outfit mint on card. The condition of this was beautiful. I kept the package.

Here she is in her original outfit.

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: 1988 Best Buy #3634 with random black 90s style shoes. Maybe Kayla's? Original ring.

FEELIN' GROOVY BARBIE

YEAR: 1986

PURCHASE CONDITION: Boxed

PURCHASE DATE: September 2008

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: Original

NOTES: I love this doll! It's always great to see a pale-skinned, black-haired girl with the Steffie face. And her outfit is really pretty, too. Excellent colors.

JEWEL SECRETS WHITNEY

YEAR: 1986

PURCHASE CONDITION: Either boxed or loose in good condition

PURCHASE DATE: September 2008

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: 1990 Dinner Date fashion #4937. Whitney wears the complete fashion with her original ring.

NOTES: Whitney was one of my childhood wants that never got fulfilled. She does not disappoint in person! I used to have Perfume Pretty Whitney that I got around the same time, but her head broke in the hurricane move and I haven't replaced her yet. This is the best Whitney anyway.

BENETTON TERESA

YEAR: 1990

PURCHASE CONDITION: Boxed

PURCHASE DATE: August 2008

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: 1985 Astro fashions "Dazzling Dancer" #2743. I adore this outfit! It's very She-Ra meets superhero. I believe the whole outfit is being worn by Teresa, along with her original earrings and ring.

NOTES: This is my favorite Teresa ever, though she might be nudged aside if I ever get Benetton Shopping. This one is stunning though. Gorgeous eyes and lips. Love her hair color. Always a sucker for the Steffie face. That's why she got one of my fave outfits.

ALL AMERICAN TERESA

YEAR: 1990/1991

PURCHASE CONDITION: Boxed

PURCHASE DATE: Childhood

MOLD: Steffie

OUTFIT DETAILS: This is 1989 Dance Club fashion #3569, missing only the orange vinyl purse. Her earrings are original. Not sure where the green ring came from. The original ring was an orange triangle.

NOTES: I only had two Teresas as a kid and they were very different from each other. This one was the first. I was really into X-Men at the time and she was my Rogue. It's the big hair. Heh.
